On November 25th, 2020, teachers and students from PULCHRA project pilot schools in Latvia gathered at a Virtual Opening Event on the ZOOM platform and met with project experts from different fields.
Experts greeted participants and wished success to the project.
Latvian National Commission for UNESCO introduced Sustainable Development Goals, and other experts explained different aspects of sustainability in the urban environment and science. You can find the video of presentations here: https://youtu.be/XviMDDOcvn8
Besides presentations participants had some interactive tasks – to take pictures of their respective cities at the current moment through their window and to post in social media with hashtag #PilsētaAizLoga (City Behind the Window) and to make a word-cloud describing their future city.
