Tereza is a professional non-governmental non-profit organization fostering environmental and science education in the Czech Republic for the last 39 years. The center supports teachers, parents, and other educators with high quality programs, trainings and teaching resources. Reaching over 800 schools, 94,000 children a year, Tereza is the leading organization in the field of environmental and science education in the Czech Republic. Tereza is a member of a worldwide network of Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and plays the important role of the international Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program network since 1995. Since 2012, one of the coordinating units of the program, GLOBE Regional Office for Europe and Eurasia (GLOBE Europe) is located in Tereza.
