Institute of Educational Sciences-ISE is a public national institution for research, development and innovation in the field of education and youth, under the co-ordination of the Ministry of Education. ISE aims to contribute actively to innovation in education through expertise, training, studies and research. The mission is to provide the scientific support needed for the newest approaches in education, for authentic, motivating, active and creative learning. ISE supports various actors: decision-makers, schools and universities, teachers, parents, children, young people and adults engaged in lifelong learning. Researchers of ISE have a relevant experience in developing research projects in various fields: school curriculum, education theory, pre-school education, educational alternatives, educational and youth policies, school management, assessment, education of children at risk, adult education, continuous, counseling and guidance.
