
Students from T.G. Masaryka, Moravské Budějovice, Czech Republic have been working on project mission “New Park” as part of their PULCHRA project.
National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) is the largest and oldest University in Greece, with pertinent educational and research orientation. It offers a multitude of academic disciplines and is ranked among the 250 best Universities worldwide. In particular the Division of Physics (where the participating Department of Environmental Physics belongs) has ranked for the 3rd consecutive year among the best 150 worldwide. The Department of Environmental Physics and Meteorology has been the European Topical Centre for Air of the European Environment Agency, the focal point for the Global Learning Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Programme, it runs an operational system for weather prediction and climatological analysis and acts as the scientific advisor of several Municipalities in Greece in terms of urban management. It currently has a permanent staff of 25 members, plus over 30 contracted scientists.
